Sorry Yankee fans, no MVP for you.
Now there's an extra $60 million they can use to turn an outfielder into a pitcher or a 1st baseman?

As a huge Red Sox fan, this is GREAT news! The reigning WS MVP will call Fenway home for the next 3 years! I love the guy. My heart sank when I heard of the rumors of him playing first bank with the Yankees. Thanks for staying Mike. Your the man.

I just read that on dirt dogs...I pretty much figured he would stay with the Sox but I am very relieved that unless someone else throws out crazy money Lowell will be at third again next year...I can't wait to hear the Fenway cheer for him on opening day next year!

That is a good move for both the Red Sox and Lowell if it happens.

That's great news for him and me...In MLB.com's Free Agent Frenzy, I have him staying in Boston... I'm not sure how many points I get for this right answer.
