Lack of exercise.
Eat healthier.
Walk a little each day.
Do more and more slowly.
Gradually increasing it will help your body become more fit and accustomed.
Go to the gym.
Use an exercise bike, or if you have a bike at home, even better.
Eat less salty food.
NO FAST-FOOD. Avoid mc-donalds or burger king or Wendys. no,no,no.
BAD for legs, bad for body...
Slowly increase amount of exercise.
Get someone to massage them...
Relax them in a bath-tub.

Go to another doctor, a second opinion won't hurt. we're not really doctors here so we cant help without more details and visuals so I do urge you to get more professional help.

Well, im not an expert, but it could be caused by several things. It could be arthritis, or fibromyalgia. Or restless leg syndrome. Are you diabetic? My roommate is and her legs get really sore or they burn when she walks too far. You should find a neurologist or a leg, ankle and foot Dr. They may be of more help than a G.P or a consultant.

Hope your M.R.I. scan results is not bad. Try electric shock treatment or apply a little massage vibrator to it. If this doesn't help then look for a Physical Therapist. Wish you'll get better.

Make sure you are drinking plenty liquids and include milk. Whenever I don't drink enough throughout the day, my legs cramp up really bad.
I use Advil when I have to and a heating pad helps relax the muscles too.

well yep, if you excercise them it helps. as said before slow build up, then you get used to it.

as for salt, u'd be suprised what does contain salt , and it's hidden name on ingredients e.g. "sodium" .. same with sugar/sucrose..

or walk a neighbours dog =)

just if you don't use your joints they seize up.

Go to a massage therapist for one thing.
Buy exercise equipment (treadmill, bike, etc.)
Drink lots of milk

I'm surprised nobody could figure out what it is?

im not a doctor, but i would listen to your own doctor!

Maybe go back into see him and get him to explain it to you again, and dont be shy to bring up points that you want to ask.

could be back related. I keep getting really achey hamstrings, think it could be because i had physio to help straighten my spine.
