As someone who has played on a high level and as a stand out I can say I believe the average person has no clue to me. It's according on what they are talking about. If someone is a fan of a team or player and I'm not a fan than that's just a difference of opinion. But if they say Phil Jackson is the coach of the Detroit Lions they have no clue. I think Brian Uhrlacker is suspect and Julian Peterson is the Best LB in football. You might would disagree but this is just a difference of opinion. Neither one of us are right or wrong here. But if one of us argued that the Jacksonville Jaguars has a Superbowl. That person would be totally misinformed.

I even have theory the comparable concern many situations, yet I do continually ask 'would I ask you a question' of clerks in shops ... this gets their interest in direction of me, no longer in direction of folding clothing or including numbers or some thing else. I additionally say i'd desire to ask a 'fairly stupid' question, because of fact for some reason as quickly as I say that the guy i'm asking continually thinks i'm asking an quite smart question ... As for the final question, I even have purely ignored many busses with the aid of being around the line whilst it glided with the aid of, and function been waiting there for fifteen to thirty minutes, and that i could desire to kick the questioner in the teeth whilst they ask if the bus has come yet ... for the comparable reason. particularly circumstances, i will tell the guy another bus that has long previous with the aid of as a thank you to get my 'small anger' out ... yet locate that the bus they wished is the only that left 3 minutes till now their arrival. What gets me is they seem to think of I would desire to have 'held' that bus for them, even in spite of the undeniable fact that i've got by no ability even seen them till now. those people are not purely 'stupid' ... they are so self based i ask your self why they do no longer 'tension' ... precise off a cliff!

I hate it when people say Vince Young is good. That guy sucks. I mean, 4 TDs and 10 INTs for the season? Tom Brady threw that many TDs in the FIRST HALF of the Bills game last night. He's averaging something like 120-130 yards per game for throwing. He's only had 2 games this season where he's thrown for more than 200. 0 for above 300. He has fewer rushing TDs than Peyton Manning, who is hardly known for his rushing ability. And the Titans' highest scoring game of the season was the one he missed.

I don't really mind at all. It just gives me a chance to talk about football at work. I don't profess to know everything about football, and I know I have a lot to learn, so I take the opportunity to get into the conversation, show them what I know and hopefully learn a little bit in the process.

Oh wow do I... good question ,you get a star!
Being from boston, working and living in boston.. all these office co workers just jump on the band wagon.. Patriots this, Patriots that.. but they don't even really know what they're talkin about... nor were they there when we struggled thru the late 80s and early 90s... (god damn coach Ron Rust!!!!) So I really get peeved by that!

I find it quite funny...I act like I didn't hear it...casually go up to them a few minutes later and start a conversation. I intentionally direct the conversation to football and mention the exact thing they were wrong about...but of course I am being accurate (I even look stuff up on the computer prior just to make sure I'm correct).

I think they all hate me...ha

I hate it when people come on here and know nothing about football, especially when it's someone I've never even seen before and they try to call me out on something. More than that, I hate asking honest, thought-provoking questions and getting biased responses from people who could care less about your question and only care to answer their own, or trash talk... or from people who watch Sportscenter one day in their lives and decide to quote something they heard like they were the ones who thought of it.

I just love watching when the village idiot male co-worker calls himself trying to explain the game and the players to females he thinks knows nothing about the game only to have them correct him when he makes an error. Truly priceless!!

No...Don't get bothered by it..Maybe their learning curve is a Little flat, but hey they are watching...If they are people you could hang out with, watch a game and make your point....If they are just completely full of it and don't want to listen to an opposing or different perspective. Or learn something new...Just chuckle and let them go on rambling....The game is alot more fun when you open up to it....Their loss, not yours....
