I know, I know! Owen Wister!...GREAT book...evolved into the TV series which I also liked.

The Virginian was written by Owen Wister. I remember the TV series too.

I think the book you're talking about may be PSI Spies by Jim Marrs, though I've never read the whole thing, I've browsed it a few times in bookstores. Hope that helps.

Wally I have trouble remembering names of anybody and anything as well as numbers! I think I have a learning disability as I have always had this problem! lol!
