I am 14, and I would love to get signed to an acting agency, however, having done my research and have found that you have to have a resume. However, I have only ever acted in school productions. Can anyone help? (I live in the Channel Islands, UK)

Why not work on building your resume? School productions are a great start, but what about local theatre, student and indie films? Get going :-) Network while you do these things and find out who is signed with what agency. Get a referral and work your way into those agencies for an audition.

Don't forget training. Pros are continually training.

good luck,
Marianne

Having been a model, I can tell you it isn't easy. The first thing to do is get some good pcitures made, especially a good head shot and then start making the rounds of all the agencies. You'll get shot down a lot, but persistance pays off many times. Make sure you've got back-up income before you throw yourself into this.

first of all, i am the same thing. you say you have been in school stuff, okay, well hers what. to be ya know a super like ;actor", you MUST HAVE NATURAL TALENT. if you dont, get some acting classes or something. when you are in the school plays, does your director or someone say you did an awesome job? you have to think about your talent first. my teacher says i am great.
