It probably is your period. Since it's not very heavy yet, ask your mom to buy pantie liners to protect your panties from stains. As your flow gets heavier, you can move up to full sized pads and after awhile(when you start full flow), start using tampons. Don't worry everything will be fine. Talk with your mom or your sister, they have already been there and will understand. :0)
