I would check Beckett monthly first to determine what the value of your card is. The way the market was flooded with card companies that made specialty cards and ones that produced 3-4 different lines (Topps, Topps Stadium Club, etc.) in the late 80s early 90s diluted the value of baseball cards all together. Beckett will give you a starting point when negotiating the sale of the card.
You'd probably get a better dollar value from selling it online as opposed to a card shop. The card shop will more than likely under pay you for the card(s) then sell it at or slightly above its actual worth to turn a profit.

Go to your local card shop and talk to the people there, or Ebay or something like that, but i would try your local card shop first, and bring the cards with you so that they can look at them and give you there price, but most card shop are picky about what they buy, even if it is "worth" 500 bucks or so, they are in a business, and if there is not a market for your card, they wont buy it

Sports stores that sell cards will buy yours but be careful because they will try to cheat you with cheap prices.

On the Internet, a trade store, or through word of mouth. But it would help to ask in the baseball area.
