1. will it make the metal detector go off?
2. is there any other reasons besides (proffesionalism ) that they would make him take it out?

he is in direct contact with the public, often in a business setting, in a uniform - that usually means a conservative dress code.

Fed Ex's customers - who pay for the service - include people who are older and turned off by body rings. If you want the job, you have to live with it.

1. Doubtful it will make the detector go off because not enough metal but it all depends.

2. Professionalism is one of the top reasons. Others would be dress codes in place, safety reasons other than metal detectors.

I have no clue really.
It probably will make the metal detector off.
Or maybe it might just be against the dress code or something
and they are trying to say take it off in a polite way.

Certainly doesn't fit with the FEDEX image. And as a customer of FEDEX, I would find it offensive.
