If the frost is not sharp plant outside and around the base of the tree wood or bark chippings or if you have a coal fire...sprinkle ashes and it should survive.

If you can dig a hole it is OK to plant. Since you want to plant it in a pot, I would wait until spring. You don't say where you are located but give a hint that you get severe winters. I would not plant a tree in a pot as you will have to bring it in for the coldest part of winter. You also commit to watering a lot as you don't have a typical root system in a pot. If you have a place that wouldn't mind leaving the tree I would suggest planting it in the ground.

OK use worm compost best kind to make it take soil and kitchen waste and put in Worms and they will poop it for compost so that handles that and for while you wait keep it indoors in a pot and with soil and then do not i mean never bring it outdoors

If you are planting in a pot always use a good quality potting mix suitable for the plant never use garden soil. Also, its good if you can get one that has water crystals in it. You shouldn't need compost if you are using the potting mix.

The Black Tartarian and the Van types interior the previous have been used frequently as pass pollinators for the commercially often happening Bing variety. by way of Black Tartarian and the Van fruit being very liable to cracking from rain and being delicate, commercial growers began to apply types such by way of fact the Rainier. The Rainier is the white cherry with a tinge of purple which you spot on the food market next to the Bings. i prefer to propose which you plant a Bing by way of fact the pass pollinator on your Tart. you could plant your Bing pollinator everywhere interior of your backyard as long by way of fact the tree gets finished solar for most of the day. Honey bees love cherry blossoms and could bypass to the two certainly one of your cherry wood many situations during the bloom.
