Why do people care about age so much?

Question

Alot of y!answers people or just people in general wish they were a certain age to be able to do certain things. Why not do it now?

questions like...im too old to be this or do that or start this. you are the undertaker in your own life why do you care so much of what people will think? or you scared? just do it dont care about age.

I agree wholeheartidly. I think people should live more like you said instead. Alot of children make you feel old like 5 years-18 lol these ages are cherished by those who live them. people older than 18 kinda don't care anmore or should not care. I know alot of my friends have friends of many ages so do I. Personally though, I think its in their subconcious that you are old if you are 22 on up. Some say 30 on up who knows if you are older than them than you will be old. Get some friends your own age and things will fall into place and trust me nothing gets old but your looks.....your mentality is more experienced but we are just people. children really.

Listen princess: (1) Be conscious whenever you're chatting with the guy, cause others have already started expressing opinions about this cute adventure of yours (2) Confirm if he's older than 22, if so back out, otherwise don't tell anyone about this affair (3) Things may go out of hand into chaos if your affair goes for too long cause you're working too. This is true of most things but there are some things that just aren't age appropriate. There are things that I hear about my younger cousins doing and they sound super fun but I am too old to do some of things that they do. I mean, I could do them but I would feel foolish and people would probably think I was a fool. Just like there are somethings that an average 21 year old can wear but your average 41 year old probably shouldn't. Conversely, there are things that a 41 year old can do/wear that a 21 year old can't do/wear.

My belief is that as soon as you say, "I'm too old to do that," you will be too old to do it.

That's why I challenge myself to do things that many other advanced geezers would never attempt. Going for a ten-mile hike, shoveling snow. That kind of thing.

Age is all in your head. It's a concept. You can let it do you in, or you can ignore it.

wow i like ur question...um im not sure why people care so much about age...i receltly turned 18 and i went to disneyland and i wore a shirt that said Im 18 Today (lol) because for one i dont look eighteen and 2 everybody goes to disneyland when its there bday, especailly the little cocky 16 years olds, who look older than me, but there not. I wanted them to know that i was older, that i had more responisibilty and privaleges than they did. i know that sounds stupid, but thats why age is important to me, i just want everyone younger than me to know that im older! that im not 12 like everyone thinks, im 18! it just pisses me off when someone younger than me looks older, but in fact im the older one, i just look young

idk, all i can say is that i'm happy with my age and i do what i want
won't you people just be happy. getting older means you're having a longer life...just live life to the fullest
