Being from the San Francisco area, I am a bit amused by the ignorance and intent demonstrated with this question - and it's just a rant with no grounding in reality.
Number one, I think we here have more morals in terms of respect for the country than our President, who has chosen to ignore the Constitution. And it's pretty pathetic that the poster has chosen to equate dissent with treason or any other moral failing. Well, ever hear of the saying, "dissent is patrotic"?
Number two, for the same reason, it is pretty pathetic to trash France as a country simply because they disagree with us on Iraq policy or other foreign policy. If you'd take off your flag waving blinders for one moment, there are actually more than a few things that the French do pretty darned well - like health care, for less money than we spend, and for better coverage of its citizens.
Frankly, your question tells more about you as a person than San Francisco as a target of your scorn. Be my guest and keep demonstrating your ignorance.

Pay attention France is now singing a different tone.
I don't even hate France enough to sell San Francisco them.
I think however that we should cut off all federal aid there tell they get some common sense.
Not much just a little.

Give me a break, I bet you haven't even stepped foot in San Francisco before, but sure are quick to demonize a whole city based on what right-wing media says about it....
Same goes for everyone else badmouthing it. Have you even been there?
The real San Francisco is a much different place than the imaginary place conservatives love to badmouth.

Uh...yes, we'll give them a strategically valuable port city with one of the highest incomes in the US per capita--located in a state that has the world's third largest economy because you're scared of the few homosexuals who live in the Castro district. Brilliant plan.
