You have a few problems with the BCS. One, the human polls are obviously biased since they're voted on by humans. Second, the computers don't take strength of schedule into account. Now, after all that, they claim number one and number two in the BCS are the best teams in the country?!?
So let's see, you could possibly have a program with a lot of history who hasn't played anyone but has high rankings in the human polls due to the program's strong tradition against a team with a lot of "style points" due to their awesome stats in big wins over patsy teams in the computer polls. And these two teams are the best in the country. I don't get it.
I'm not saying either of those scenarios necessarily apply to any teams up there right now, because all those teams are good. I think it has happened since the inception of the BCS, but I'll keep who it was to myself.

BCS is little more than a joke. Remember the computerized rankings do not include strength of schedule. That being said we are back to 'style points.'

Yes. Some teams have tougher schedules than others, it should not be based on polls since it is unfair to those teams who actually play competitive teams.

Why not Scotty? They would certainly beat them on the field. Do you seriously think they wouldn't?
