The Energy Bill of 2005, although that really laid the groundwork for changes. We won't see the full benefit of that for at least another 10-20 years, but at least the policy was put in place. One interesting thing this has done is made it possible to put solar panels on your house and receive a tax break for it. You can then have that energy fed into the power grid (not available in all areas) and have the power generated deducted from your utility bill. For some very conservative (and conservative as in conserving energy) homeowners, the result is the utility company PAYS THEM for power.

A whooping tax cut for the wealthy and a free market system second to none for heavy corporate contributors. And his secret program to stay on as president by having the scariest man alive as his vice president. Who'd want Dick? (I mean Cheney, Larry Craig.)

YOU-CUT sponsored by republican whip Eric Cantor. Every few weeks you can vote on several different budget cuts that are extraneous and just downright ridiculous. The winner goes to the appropriate committee to sponsor a bill to cut the pork/fat. To date the democrats have squashed all but one cut.

i see that people like to mention the war on terrorism and how terrorist attacks have stopped on U.S soil.My question is before bush and 9/11 what were the terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. The only one's that i can think of were done by americans. Hasn't america been one of the main users of terrorism through the years to get other countries to do what we tell them to do?

He saved our economy from collapsing after 9/11.
He has put more minorities in positions of power than any other President.
First time homeowners were at an all time high because of President Bush.
He saved millions of Iraqis from being raped, tortured, and killed by Saddam.
He started funding for faith based programs which do more to help fellow Americans than our government does.
He is the only U.S. President to ever recognize a Palestinian state, but most people say he hates Muslims.
He has kept us safe.

Llets compare him to Jimmy Carter.... double-digit inflation, double-digit unemployment, the gas crisis, people freezing to death in their homes because they cant afford heating oil, tax rates over 75%, Iran Contra, he is responsible for many of the problems in the middle east today... but you love him right

Lowered taxes: Made the economy surge forward out of the stagnant Clinton years.
Iraq: No more Saddam and is now a democratic nation
Terrorism: Fighting the terrorists abroad, so they do not attack here
Economy: Stocks high, unemployement low, job availability high, personal incomes high

I've named a bunch.

How about the number of terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11 (zero).

How about his turning around the recession Clinton left us with?

A new energy policy.

A new space policy.

A tax cut.

Due to your obvious hate for Bush, anything we type will be attacked as a lie or spin so why bother. Go drink your Al Gore koolaid and take a nap.
