If he were to loose the nomination to Hillary ( mainly, lest face it it will be because she's a woman and the name recognition that will get her a mojority of the votes. ) could he run as a 3rd party like Ralph and Ross? If he is so likeable by Dems and Repubs, could it work to his favor?

He will never do that. He will remain Democrat and become President some day. If only he decides to team with Hillary at the very earliest , and tone down his presently too much negativity in the run up to the primaries !!

Were he to go by the above advice and run as independent that will be his political Waterloo.

He could but probably will not... the Democrats are doing a pretty good job of maintaining a 'sense of unity' this election cycle.

A challenge from a 3rd party candidate that was a previous Democrat presidential contender would hurt Hillary Clinton's chances greatly...He would split the traditional Democrat base...howbeit, he would provide viable alternative for independents or/and those oppose to Hillary Clinton but not willing to vote for a Republican.

Let face it...Obama is Never a third place nor a 3rd party runner..he is the 2008 Democratic presidential Nominee.. like it or not..... He believes and knows his capable to run the events Unlike Hillary, who seems to be running "on behalf of the husband".and her" Washington experience "..I'm really concern about what she's gonna bring to the table.I believe in situations like these, and for the world to continue to give America the respect she has lost through the current administration. The International community would listen to New and Very Fresh ideas from people like Obama .That being said I encourage you to watch these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNCLomrqI...

Sure. But he won't. The last 3rd party to win more than 20% of the vote was the Republican Party with Abraham Lincoln (39%).

No, because of the fact she would know that it would on no account artwork and that she would lose all of her ultimate impression interior the social gathering. maximum possibly she would at the back of the scenes attempt to sabatoge Obama or desire McCain wins so as that she would be able to run returned in 4 years.

Obama running in a 3rd party will be a sure victory for the GOP.

So you decide if it is worth it.

It is unlikely that he would take that route because it would split up the Democratic vote and neither he nor Hillary would be elected.

He could run, but it would divide the Democratic vote and the Republican could win. He'd poison the well, just like Perot did.
