I don't know who I'll vote for in the general election if Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination (and with his ability to raise money and with the poll numbers finally going up, he's got a chance and should get 20% in New Hampshire at the least).
There is no way I could vote for Giuliani and I'd have a hard time voting for any of the other Republicans. I don't want to give the Democrats the ability to blame Capitalism for the bad policies that Giuliani or Romney would implement. If Hillary censors the Internet (like Giuliani wants to do), implements socialized medicine (like Romney did in Massachusetts), or attacks Iran, bankrupting the United States and leading to the reinstatement of the "Draft," (as any Republican other than Ron Paul is likely to do), at the very least everybody would know just what ideas to blame.
I'd probably vote for the Libertarian candidate or even consider voting for the Democrat if the election was close. Because of the lack of real difference between the Democrats and Ron Paul's opponents for the GOP nomination, if he doesn't win, it would be better in the long run if the Democrats won and discredited socialism once and for all, then to permit another Republican president to drag Capitalism through the mud.

He easily can. Having raised over $7 million already (inclusive of over $4 million on Monday by myself), he has merely approximately easily gained the money universal (it somewhat is, by way of fact he did no longer strengthen money early and blow it like his opposition did, he will have money to spend while it certainly concerns). And he has the biggest quantity of authentic supporters of any candidate (and that they set up independently). Ron Paul has the main suitable prepared campaign, the main suitable platform (even however the politicians have shifted, most of the yank human beings nonetheless want the country to return to following the form), and the money. the only the rationalization why Ron Paul trails are call popularity and media bias. very few human beings evaluate the media to be objective anymore and the money will enable the call popularity to improve. while Ron Paul finishes interior the authentic 3 in Iowa (a million or 2 human beings can certainly win a precinct on the Iowa Caucus, as turnout is low, so Ron Paul supporters could be waiting to win that one with the aid of potential of showing up) and the authentic 2 in New Hampshire (while the recent Hampshire independents understand that the warmongering Hillary is a lock for the nomination, they're going to bypass the boring Democrat universal and vote for Ron Paul), he will exchange right into a severe authentic-tier candidate and something of the country will inspect him greater heavily. If Ron Paul have been to end above John McCain in New Hampshire, McCain might probable drop out and if he gained the two Iowa and New Hampshire, Romney might probable drop out. Then, Giuliani ought to implode (if Ron Paul beats Rudy in enormous apple, NJ, or PA, it would disclose Rudy as vulnerable interior the very area the place he's meant to be maximum useful and harm his opportunities) and drop out of the race. If that occurs, the election comes right down to Ron Paul VS Fred Thompson. Fred Thompson is a sectional candidate who in straightforward terms appeals to the army-commercial complicated interior the south, so the north and west will bypass to Ron Paul, giving him sufficient delegates to conquer Fred Thompson for the nomination. as a manner to win, he has to start solid and win a majority of delegates. If no one finally ends up with a majority, the different applicants will group up and vote certainly one of them to the nomination.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian, a political philosophy that shares alot more with true conservatism than liberalism or socialism.
Mant will go for Huck or Thompson.

Ron Paul has a VERY good chance of winning the Republican nomination, why do you have a defeatist attitude?
Here's a little history that's never publicized:
Ron Paul came in third in his previous presidential run, way back in 1988. The winner was George Bush Sr.
If Ron Paul HAD been elected in 1988, we might just have:
No IRS!
No foreign involvement in war!
Sound money!
Little or NO inflation!
No Fed!
A much smaller Federal Government!
Not much loss of jobs to overseas countries!
The U.S. Constitution still in full force!
A huge withdrawal of overseas American military.
A MUCH more sound economy!
...And much more today!
...But the Bush's & Clinton's helped put the USA in the {IMO} sad state of loss of individual rights it's in today.......You want REAL FREEDOM,in the USA, help to nominate RON PAUL, and don't let the biased media steal your vote!!!!
Thank you.

I agree with much of what you say. I'd be pleased to see RP in there at the helm. Not likely to happen.
I'd more or less be able to live with any of the other Rep. guys except for Giul. I'm not thrilled with his immigration amnesty thang. Honestly, I don't understand how the US can even remotely consider letting in illegals and then even more of them when we are unable to take care of the people we have here now. Health care, water, fuel etc.
Who are these pro people kidding? Let in the sneakers, thumb your nose at those standing in line (and those that have) and let the bad times roll. If these folks keep coming, who's gonna pay for it except the middle class? Many middlers are nearly dead now.
I'd be happy with a Rep in the White House. Pretty much anyone but Giul.
I must say, I shake in my boots to think of Hil or BO being in there. We'll be in our death throws if either of those two are allowed to climb to the captains chair. Actually BO isn't a bad guy but I think he couldn't handle the reins that will be his if he gets the chance to be Pres.

With exception of foreign policy, Mike Huckabee has a lot of similar views as Ron Paul. He wants to get rid of income taxes, which gets my vote.

"The only true conservative"? Are you drunk? He's so far right he's almost not even on the grid. I would never vote for any candidate rep or dem who are so far right or left. I hate fanatics or extremists. Mitt Romney looks like a dignified US President and in my opinion how I want our country to be represented: tailored suit-great haircut--articulate answers..original ideas to present..well-educated--spiritual and believes in God and is not afraid to say so. If he asked Rudy to run with him--I'd vote for them.
Ron Paul hasn't got a snowball's chance in hellll of winning GOP nomination.
