women label themselves as sexy?

when i look at 360 profiles i often see that women calling themselves sexy, beautiful with revealing pics. also when you see the names on YA, like sexymom or hotwife. you never see this in guys, prettydude or maybe richguy (to show of money?) seems like guys dont need to label themselves like that as if they have nothing else to offer. i always find it so silly when women do this as if they have low self-esteem and only get attention that way. to me that has nothing to do with being confident, because thats something you dont need to put on your forehead. anyone else feel that way about the profiles?

when you are sexy, you dont need to point it out in pics and names all over the place. i learned that women who do that are not very often sexy or confident.

I know....What I really hate is when women have to label themselves as silly. Gosh what losers.

Some women actually feel sexy and are proud of it. It isn't always about trying to make themselves feel better, it can be, and probably is, that they are confident in how they see themselves and don't care if prudish people think it is silly. Feeling sexy is a good thing. I have never met anyone with low self esteem that described themselves as sexy. It is usually those with a good self image that helps them feel sexy.
Edit -Just because you don't think someone is sexy, does not mean that they aren't to themselves or to the people whose opinion actually matters to them. Beauty, and sexiness, are in the eye and mind of the beholder.

Well lets just say I dress in which ever way i feel like, and i admit that sometimes I do wear something revealing so as to tease my hubby, not only that we both get a buzz of knowing other eyes are on me. At the same time i also know that my man will look at other ladies - if he didn't something would be very wrong. maybe what your girlfriend does not tell you is that she likes the power she feels when she dresses revealingly and still wants to keep you on a leash - now that is not fair - both of you should be able to look and enjoy the beauty around - after all its good to know that you have the very best as a mate :-))

I see what you are saying and I agree. The only rebuttal I may be able to give is that for the most part they want to catch your eye with a billboard type message. Something that just says look at me. Then once we do look at them it is up to us to decide. Guys do this, but in a different way. We tend to cater to more of the "size matters" theory and use words like "Big" in our profile names. Well, not me but just speaking generally.

Totally feel that way! I could never imagine myself labeling myself as "sexy". To me that is just asking for the wrong kind of responses.

What does this have to do with marriage and divorce. women are not labeling themeselves they do not want attention it is just a nick name that is all and it is nice knowing that you are hot and being a mother flaunt it all you can did does not bother me at all.

I am Native American...and my teenage daughters think I am a pretty mom or cute ....so they came up with my yahoo id....but I would never refer to myself as sexy or hot.....seems just a tad bit vain.....

Yes, I agree with you. Just because you call yourself sexy doesn't make you sexy. But they can dream.

If you feel you need to have a crusade to perk up your own self esteem, you could do better.

How about something along the lines of personal self improvement. For example, your English Grammar.
