my switch has dials 1 thru 5. one by one they started to stop working until the only one that worked was 5 - I am now not getting any air through my vents....
could it be a fuse or is the whole thing shot?

Blower motor resistor.

The blower motor resistor located forward of the blower motor itself is shot.

Hi,if you lost speeds one at a time,not everything at once,it should be the resistor. Its under the dash on the passenger side. Should have a small wire connector on it,an usually 2 bolts.

resister array by blower motor. must lay upside down on passenger front side, remove trim. look by blower motor two small bolts...like a 12 to 15 dollar part....

Your resistor block is shot.
It is located on the plenum that sends the air to the ducts.
Should have several wires going to it.
On high the resistor isn't used.

sounds like yuor switch is bad.... is the numbers one by one went out then check the switch's first before getting a whole new blower
