I couldn't agree more. He needs to die or be overthrown. Rhodesia (Will always be Rhodesia to me) was once a great and beautiful country. Now Zimbabwe is being run to the ground.

The latest policy that I find completely vile is the one where blacks must be given 49% of white-owned businesses. There used to be over 200,000 caucasians living the country now it's down to 800 (I think). A lot of the people started their businesses in Rhodesia and survived until today even with Mugabe in power for 20 years.

The other policy that is a joke is the one where he or his party is allowed to choose his successor. This guy must be overthrown because democratic elections won't yield. Many urbanites are cohersed into voting for him and suburbanites are afraid for their lives.

Soon South Africa will be just like Zimbabwe. Africa is a very important topic to me and thank you for bringing this important issue up.

To the man who claimed that Mugabe won the freedom of Rhodesia. No he didn't! Prime Minister Ian Smith won the freedom of British colonial rule. Yes, Mugabe was part of it but Ian Smith was the head of the freedom run.

Mugabe's story is such a tragic one. He went from a national hero who won the freedom of Zimbabwe from Britain to a ruthless dictator hell bent on running the country to the ground. I hope he gives up power and goes into exile.

The British government could and should of got rid of him years ago .

No what will happen is , he will carry on until he dies . Then we; the tax paying public will end up giving the country millions of pounds to bail it out .

All we needed to do is send about six SAS in and bingo , done and dusted .

Anthrax can live dormant in soil for hundreds of years. Likewise plague, so who knows.

Needs to die? Well I guess that is one opinion and I respect that it is your opinion. I don't know enough about him, having to deal with our problems here, I don't have much time for Zimbabwe.
