I have no idea how.
Can I save it to a CD or Floppy Disk or something & open it on the new laptop? HOw? Thanks!

The software will need to be installed on your laptop. Programs in general cannot simply be copied from one computer to another. Also, note that by the license agreement with the software computer, you are given a license to use the software on one computer. In other words, legally you can only install the software on one computer for use without buying a separate copy to go on your laptop. Lastly, Corel (corel.com) now owns Paintshop Pro and version 8 that you've mentioned is a very old version. The current version is X2 (12). You may want to check into getting an upgrade. It's worth the time to do so. I'm speaking from personal experience. I've used PSP since version 5 and have upgraded to all newer versions since. I sorry, but that's not possible. A program must be loaded for the installation disk.
