No, the lying drunk murderer has not. She was apparently just a date, an acquaintance, not someone he was actively dating. Mary Jo Kopekne, I think her name was.

He didn't have to admit it, it was there for everyone to see. He was drunk, had a wreck and she drowned. If anyone of you have ever drank and drove, be careful of your name calling, it could have happened to you. And calling it a " killing " is a bit over the top. What would you call it if your son or daughter was driving drunk, had a wreck and someone died?

Mary Jo Kopekne. He admitted to driving the car off the bridge and into the Chappaquiddick, then claimed he tried to rescue her from the car, before he went home and went to bed. Got up the next day, after he could avoid the accusations of inebriation, having slept it off, and called the police.

Yes, he admitted it but he tried to spin it as something other than "killing". Apparently the liberal voters of Massachusetts swallowed that one hook, line and sinker.
His relationship with Mary Jo Kopeckne has always been a source of speculation.
God rest her soul! I hope Teddy thinks about her every day.

No he has never taken responsibility. His story has been proven bogus on so many levels. She may have been pregnant with his baby. Nice and convenient that he survived and she didn't.
