I thought that was banned since Benoit's double-murder-suicide. I didn't see it, I read the results on http://www.wrestleview.com

Everyone is gripping and moaning about the Cross face, the sharpshooter or whatever. Did anyone ever stop to think perhaps 2 things might have occurred. (1) Maybe Shawn was showing respect to Chris and Bret? (2) McManiac TOLD him to do them? Of course not people just think he did them because it was the 10th anniversary of the infamous "screw job". I think people should sometimes think before they jump to conclusions. Everyone knows nothing happens in the WWE that isn't controlled by McManiac.

yeah, he put him in the "cross face"...no crippler to preface it. I was surprised to see it. HBK did the sharpshooter before that, the ankle lock after that, and attempted the figure 4 but was not successful. I'm not saying the move should be banned, but you can't help but think of Benoit when you see it.

The whole nation of Canada had to have been pissed last night. In the Michaels match, we saw a sharpshooter and a crippler crossface, in the Batista/Taker match, we saw a running powerslam.

Either way, in my opinion, it's not the fact these moves are being used, it's the fact that they decided to use them at Survivor Series 10 years later. The Sharpshooter was an expected cheap shot, but the crossface was too far. The running bodyslam, I'll forgive, because who doesn't do that these days? Either way, I could feel Canada preparing a new crucifix for Shawn Michaels.

Well, it's not like Benoit owns the move, but he definitely made it famous. Shawn was desperate what can I say.
