because they are cheap enough to replace and not worth
the hassle of trying to get it down.

It's probably too dangerous to cut something down from a wire unless you're a professional. People are afraid of getting electrocuted. Unless you're talking about the animal, but I still think people would call animal rescue--for a kite or a cat.

Depends on how high the wire is I'd guess. How much of an effort would you make to climb up high somewhere to cut down a kite. Would it be worth breaking your neck over? I think it looks pretty decorative though.

Hmm. I picture some dad getting a ladder out, climbing up to the wire, grabbing the kite string, and waking up in ICU two days later. Humm. That dollar kite just don't seem to be worth it. Quite a shocking experience.

A cat doesn't caught in a wire or else the cat would get electrocuted~! But a kite doesn't get electrocuted, but the one who wants to cut it lose does...
