No, this is not true.
The best guys are the ones close to the ground, you can see them, their faults, their imperfections, and most of the time you pass them by, thinking hey this one is good but wait ! there are more apples on this tree! Foolishly hoping for the better ones that seem out of reach, which look soooo perfect, you let the good ones go.
Disclaimer- This did not happen to me. Lol.

It depends on the girl and on what stage of her life she is in....If she is in a stage where she has other priorities besides love or she is not emotionally/mentally ready for love then she will choose any apple and if it's on the ground or on the bottom of the tree even better because she is not looking for love...However if it is a girl who is emotionally, mentally ready and her priority is to find a great boy and Love then there won't be any tree too high in the world that would prevent her from reaching her objective and fnding the perfect apple...Best wishes!! :-)

i would say no
the best apples are not always at the top of the trees, some of the seasoned ripe apples may be further down, or have fallen off the tree
often girls, when young, do not want to reach for the "good" boys simply because they have not yet learned what a full meaning of good is
they fall and get hurt, not out of fear of reaching for the good, but due to encountering the bad apples
they have not yet learned to fear the bad, so they have no fear

No, girls like spoiled apples because everybody else says they're bad, giving them the allure of the forbidden. Eventually they actually bite into the spoiled apple and realized they would prefer a fresh one.

I do not know if it applies for the rest of the girls but it does apply for me. I do desire to reach for the best one but I do not try because I am very afraid of being hurt (not physically but my feelings) and I lose all hope.

No. Girls are great wanna share their feeling really get to know you. Afraid to fall if the Boy turns her down, cheat on her, secrets after 1st kiss etc. When she really trusts u dont turn her down. I also agree with QuiteNew
