Any ideas people?

Question

I want to know how to make my room more presentable to myself and friends that may come into my bedrooom.

I stay in a room with stacks of old dusty suitcases on the walled-in wardrobe. I cant take these boxes out cos they belong to family that are outside the country. I never have friends come over cos i dont like the way the room looks.

I want ideas as to how i can cover up these stacks and the old ugly suitcases and maybe even the wardrobe all in such a way that the room looks nice and trendy. I really want to be comfortable with where i stay,especially for myself.

I will also like to cover-up the end of the room where i've packed up some stuff to create more room for myself, so that the rest of the room looks nice.

I would start by getting a storage space. They are about $30 a month.

One way to work around these things is to cover them with some fabric. You can go to a fabric store (if you have a wal mart where you are you can get great deals on fabric) and pick out a couple of fabrics you like. Just drape them over the suitcases and whatever else you need to cover up.

My bes suggestion is to install a shelf or table directly above the suitcases, then drape the shelf or table with fabric. The fabric will fall in front of the suitcases, hiding them, and you can put decortive pieces like flowers or something on the shelf. Now the space is covering those ugly suitcases and you can use it.

can't these things be stored in the attic or garage?once you get rid of the extras, making it look nice will be easy.

try getting a storage unit. then you dont have to deal with it at all.
