ABC news report about mudslinging and they do their best to clear Hillary of any wrongdoing and made sure that Obama and Edwards didn't look bad for the criticisms they typically receive. They did however spend about 20 seconds defending Romney. Should they have spent equal time for both parties?

No. The press is free. Story totally doesn't seem biased to me. It wasn't an attack and it wasn't a defense but a factual report of what happened. That's news. They shouldn't spent equal time though I already believe they did.
The press reports what they find newsworthy.

This is not a good example. While it's true that ABC is on the left side here...I don't see it effecting this news story.

The 'equal time' thing is all lib...the whole fairness thing they want to force on the news.
