The old one has the indent where the was fits behind the nut, the new one has no indent for the prop, the dealer said its a new type but i dont think so, I paid £180 (sterling) for it, the centre piece seems to be wrong way round as indent for washer is at back, i think the sized is 11.5 by 14 or something

just so you know... there is no "new prop" for the 70 2-stroke. that motor has not been made since 2001 -2002 ish. so, i would return that prop ( because it is not the right one ) and ask for a refund. then i would leave that shop and never go back. they obviously do not know what they are doing and with engines costing what they do these days, you can't risk ruining your motor.
your 70hp power is the 3 cylinder engine with the large gearcase correct? the correct size and pitch is determined by the size boat you are running... here is the break down
16-18' 13 3/4 dia. 15 pitch
15-17' 13 1/4 dia. 17 pitch
14-16' 13 dia. 19 pitch
13-15' 13 3/4 dia. 21 pitch

87 octane gas mixed with TCW3 qualified oil in a 50:a million ratio. that is a million/3 cup oil in line with gallon of gas or a million pint in line with six gallons. Champion QL77JC4 spark plugs gapped at .030 exchange the water pump impeller each and every 2 years (greater in saltwater) and the kit oil each and each year.
