I need to do a maintance on my car. I want to change the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter and I want to check all the fluids. Is there anything else I'm missing?? Oh yeah, are the spark plugs easy to get to?? On my Jaguar they are impossible to get to, I have to take that car to the shop.

You do not want to change your spark plugs just for the sake of changing them unless you have 105,000 miles on them. Those plugs are platinum and the dealer price on them is about $25 each. They are easy to get to but unless you have over the 105k, don't worry--they truely last that long.

recommendations also include draining and refilling the transmission oil (dealers recommend this every 30k; honda says 100k but then again, they've had trans problems on earlier model accords so I'd go with the dealer recommenation). There is no filter in transmission to change but I don't think that model has a drain plug on the trans so you'll have to remove the pan to drain the fluid. Its a mess if you try to do it yourself so a shop may be a better alternative for this service. Its up to you but definitely do it if you're near 100k.

the air conditioning/cabin air filters are behind the glove box and should also be changed.

lastly, you should take the wheels off, check, clean and adjust your brakes and rotate the tries.

hope that helps

The TL will have more standard luxury features, sportier handling and more horsepower. Both are made on the same platform in the Ohio Honda plant. Really comes down to wether you want a new car or a used, you might find a 2004 TL with a warranty. Early 2004 TL's have some rattles, but are otherwise very reliable cars. If you can wait a bit both models will be all new in 2008. I have a 2005 TL that is proved a great car!

don't forget the cabin filter located behind the glove box and depends on mileage-every 15k gets drain & fill tranny and every 30k flush tranny-spark plugs are easy-coil over plug design-remove one 10mm bolt from each coil and gently pull them off-can't mess up firing order and coils can go on any plug.
if you are at 60k do timing and drive belts also-replace the waterpump while your'e there.-good luck!!

You should really go down to your local auto parts store and buy a service manual, it will give you the recommended maintenance procedures and instructions on how to do it properly.
