Dear Lady, you never can really say Good-bye to those we love. We always think of 1 more thing we should of said or done. But we always hold them in our hearts....

Oh Lady, you don't. Sometimes it's necessary to say 'Farewell' but to those you 'hold dear to your heart', you can never really say 'goodbye'.

Depends on why you need to say "goodbye". If it's for sure the final time, you look them in the eye, let your feelings show and say it the way you mean it.

If it's because their moving far away-You can say until we meet again here or in the hereafter.
If it's someone whose died-You can't. That person will remain in your heart until the one day when you meet again on the other side.

In an experience much like what you're asking about here, I learned what the saying "If you love someone, let them go" really means.
And you know what? To continue the saying "If they love you, they'll come back" really is true.
