Rumors are circulating out of South Bend that Charlie Weis had agreed to accept a demotion if Belichick were to accept the job. ND athletic director Kevin White has offered Belichick in excess of $8 million per year and would double that salary if the Irish were to win the national title.

Belichick has always been in the Pro Game i dont see him going into the college game ,.......Belichick go to 1 of the highest media driven teams in all of college sports i dont see that happening at all
what i read about weiss is that he wants to talk to Belichick and get his opinion on the good and bad job he has done at Notre Dame so far . .......or he wants to know if he gets canned at Notre Dame and the Giants gig doesnt seem to be opening up for him coughlin probly going to get another year .....can he have his job back at new england

I thought the rumors were saying that he (Weiss) was going to go to the Giants?
I think Weiss will be given one more year at ND, but if he cannot recruit better then that will be it.
