I think dolphins are weird looking...and some babies really aren't cute. Mine are though :)

Some babies are really ugly. Dolphins are rarely ugly. So, I'd say babies are overrated; dolphins are okay.

I wonder about that to sometimes but my personal opinion is because they are new to the world and i guess they would say any baby or dolphin is cute even if they arent

I don't really care one way or the other about dolphins, but babies are so sweet and innocent and brand-new. They don't have skin damage or bad health (usually) and nobody's broken their heart or abandoned them or hurt them yet. They sort of make me feel hopeful, like the world isn't so bad.
Plus, they really ARE precious. Those huge eyes and teeny tiny fingers and toes and chubby little arms and legs and belly...

babies have to be cute so that they get protected and nurtured by the mother if they were ugly they might get abandoned more easily
