I have been wanting a Wii for a while but I played EA Skate yesturday and loved it! Xbox has a the games Wii has exept a few, Wii has most games Xbox has, sept a few. Which should I get?
Also do Xbox 360s work on TVs that arnt HD?

If you play a lot of games online or intend to spend a lot of time playing one-player games like Assassin's Creed then get a 360. The graphics are more centered on realism and its got a wider catalogue of games. You can pick up serious games, sports, and kiddie games for the 360. They work just fine on regular tv's, but some of the text can be very hard to read. So listen to the voice-over instructions very very carefully.
If you play a lot of games in groups and have friends over that you need to entertain then get a wii. It will be carrying all of the classic nintendo licsenses like the new Mario Galaxy. If you love platformers and the Nintendo asthetic, then a Wii is the system for you. The Wii is also able to download classic games online for a minimal cost.
Entertaining people who are intimidated by other game systems is easy with a Wii. There are lots of games that are played in groups and the rules are always easy to understand. Plus the new Smash Brothers is comming up and no one can resist trying to beat the snot out of their friends while dressed up as Luigi.
In all honesty I don't think our household could live without either system. The two are so different and used for entirely seperate genres of games. It would be like asking us if we needed a toaster or a blender. We've got to have both. If I had to live with just one though, I would buy a 360. Its marketplace of downloadable content, ability to interract with other gamers, and huge selection of games still puts it up over the Wii.
Get a Wii for parties, get a 360 for special gaming alone time.

WII!!!!! i have both and a ps3..
over all i like the wii WAY better
They are supposed to be comine out with about 10 -15 more games before christmas!
and the games that they already have are really goood
and xbox 360 is a little old now. once you buy it they will probley have somthing better than that in a year like xbox 70000 or something
Wii is very fun to play with at all times and with fr4iedns and family

360s will work on normal televisions but as most of the games are designed with HDTVs in mind you might have some difficulty making out what's happening. I think the best thing you can do to decide is look at the games available, if there's more of the games you like for either console then go for that one, a console isn't any good without games.

I would have to say an XBox 360 they are so much better than the Wii. Yeah the Wii has that kind of cordless controller but its not all that.

a wii is a better choice. It is so much more interactive, it has alot of good fun games, and it is almost 100 dollars cheaper. And its alot funner to do all of the actions with wii, then having to just press a button.

I would go with PS3 first. It is fixing to heat up and get really good. I would get a 360 second, unless you love shooters most then I would probably get a 360 first. DO NOT GET A WII. I hate it. My and my room mate have all three consoles.
