Im seriously trying to get into the habit of wearing one. You have to remember I grew up in a generation where kids layed down in the back window of the family car or sat on dad's lap and steered. There are sooo many more cars on the road today and it seems like there are alot of careless drivers out there...so Id try to encourage anyone and everyone to wear their belts. If I had a wife and kids Id want them to and I couldnt expect them to unless I did also.

The law in Australia states that the driver is responsible for the safety of all occupants, including that of wearing seat belts. If you are pulled over by the police and they are not, then not only do they get a fine, the driver also does. So in short yes.

Wow.

I do. But, only b/c I had a wreck once and was told I might not be alive if I hadn't had my seat belt on. Before that, I wore it most of the time. Now, I ALWAYS wear it.

My children (or anyone elses children in my car) would never be caught w/o their seat belts, that's one thing I don't let slide.

Always, and I won't drive unless every passenger has their's on also, and if there are more passengers than seat-belts or children in the car I don't go over 60.... 70 if I'm the only car in sight

Yes I do and it's a good thing too. I had a pretty nasty wreck when I was 16 that would have probably been much worse had I not had a seat belt on

I went though a windshield and got slammed into a tree 12 years ago. I've wore my seat belt ever since.
