Something different like what? To my knowledge, unless a c-section is necessary, there is still only one orifice that one can squeeze a baby out of. I don't believe that the French have suddenly become some sort of separate alien race that has spontaneously developed a vagina-alternative.

I've never heard of anything different, but then again, I'm not that familiar with French culture, so I wouldn't guarantee my answer here.

Maybe they drink champagne to celebrate, but otherwise they should conceive and birth the babies like all other humans do.
