Make sure your computer has a Infared port first lol

Most desktops do not come with infrared ports. If you have one it would be on the front or back and look like a small, dark camera lens. Kinda a reddish tint on the plastic cover.

hardly is there an infrared port on a private laptop except there is a few compelling reason to have one put in while the device is on the market, like wanting to apply an IR distant administration for some thing. Laptops have them and the sole use for them in my experience is to print to a printer it extremely is provided with an IR port.

It would be either on front, back,or top. You should recognize it if there is one, it will look kind of like a small red reflector from a bicycle or car. Infrared is pretty old though, so if its a newer computer,it probably wont have this.

Sorry, but if can be literally anywhere on the PC - if it has one. Most Desktops do not. They are usually only found on laptops. You will have to check the documentation from the PC, or the web site of the maker if you don't have the docs.
