Dining out (that save a lot $). I you think dinning out cost you an average of at least $50 every time, and if you go out twice a week it $100 a a week, $400 a month.
Transportation. If you telecommute, car pool or use public transportation you will save big on gas (especially these days).
Any other type of entertainments such as movie, shows, travel/vacation.

Cut down Starbucks to once a week, cut down frivolous shopping (i.e. new clothes, etc.) Buy things you need, not things you want. Trust me, once you start paying your own life bills (rent, power, etc.) you pretty much don't have the luxury of going shopping for retail therapy whenever your little heart desires it. Enjoy your spending while you can. Also, maybe you should dedicate a set amount of money a week to put into savings. Trust me on this one.

Give up Starbuck's and other upscale treats. Cut out junk food altogether and brown-bag it with budget groceries.
Spend less on clothes--shop at thrift stores and resale shops (and consider reselling some of your unused clothing items on consignment for extra income.)
Cut out DVD purchase/rental, or other entertainment purchases such as movies, music downloads, etc. Listen to free radio, watch free TV, or look for free music & video feeds online.
Cut out any unecessary subscriptions.
Cut back/eliminate expensive beauty treatments--fake nails, tanning, expensive hair styling, designer makeups & perfumes.
Think Wal-Mart & Target instead of Victoria's Secret,
Bed/Bath/Beyond, Bath&Body Works, etc.
Don't waste trips & waste gas. Plan errands to maximize efficiency.
Don't buy books when you can borrow them free from the library (they also have DVD's).
None of that is what I would call sacrificing--it's just being thrifty and practical!

When ever you need or want something, wait until it is on sale before you buy it. And then only if you really need or want it.
Pack a lunch more and eat out less.
Bring your own drink and purchase drinks less.
Stop drinking alcohol.
Volunteer your time instead of going out partying.
Do your own laundry, ironing, cleaning, fixing and/or painting and not pay someone
else to do it.
Hope any of these will help you.
