Hi, in the floor use Rawlbolts, the type that expand in the flooring, in the ceiling, use "butterfly bolts" they should do the trick, Well done for the job you have done, looks very professional, but you need more secure fixings to dance to it!

If you have access to the other side of the ceiling, you can toe nail in a 2by6 and then attach the flange to the board above the ceiling. Use a decorative flange where the pole comes through the ceiling. Remove the carpet and put the flange against the subfloor then go in the basement or crawl space and put in another 2by6 and secure it between the joists and use larger wood screws to secure the pole. If you have a slab, then you can use special bolts that expand into the concrete. You may need to rent a roto-hammer to drill the concrete. A home improvement store should be able to help you out.
Good luck.

If you have access above the ceiling and below the floor, you can drill a hole through the ceiling and floor and run a bolt with a nut to secure the flanges on your pole. This will be a more secure attachment.
If you just replace the wood screws after they have started to pull out, the hole that the screws are in is going to be in worse shape then the original installation and will get loose again even faster. If you have room in the pole flanges, use a larger wood screw to get better anchorage.

This is what you need to do... I would take the flanges to a local hardware and have them open the holes to 9/32 so you can use a 1/4 wood screw(I'm assuming your pole is not greater than 8 ft) Buy 1/4 -1-1/4 hex headed lag bolts. Take a dab of actual wood glue and apply it to the threads and use a wrench to insert the bolts. That should do it for sure! Happy dancing!

Unfortunately the boards may not be thick enough to prevent the screws from working loose. Bigger screws may help but maybe try lock-washers as well (to keep the tension up). Also, try using Loctite or superglue to strengthen the wood threads (this might prove troublesome with the carpet though)
It's probably not an option but removing the carpet where the flange joins the floor will help greatly.
