Can you reach behind the grill and manually release the latch? Is the cable broken or just stuck? If you can't do any good, then take the car to a repair shop and have them repair it.

good luck

There should be a latch, lever, button or some sort that you unhook that is located under your hood near the front edge...usually within fingers length. This is after you activate the latch, lever, button that is located inside your car...usually on the drivers side, near your left foot.

you should be able to reach up between the grill and the engine and release the hook manually
