You have been cooped up with the wrong crowd. Look outside, they are running countries (Germany, and Argentina, and may be USA in future), companies (e.g Pepsico), media empire (opera, Martha).
In every family if the mothers only did what you say women do, how come we men are able to do what we do. No society will function if women only did what you think they do. Grow up and respect them, let them live like they want to.

I work with mostly men, so you can be assured there isn't much gossiping going on here. In fact, there's no gossiping at all. I work for and with good people. And when I see a good looking woman walk by, I comment on how I'd like to have a piece of that. So maybe my issue isn't gossiping, but rather harassment. Hmm....

I'm not sure where you work, but I can assure you that is not the norm. We don't just sit around gossiping all day. We have meaningful jobs with lots of responsibility and we work hard!
