Yes and No. Be very careful, there are many sick people on the internet. If you do decide to meet up,make sure you meet in a place where you aren't alone, and you are comfortable. If all goes well, then from what I've heard if can be a great thing. Alot of people have met their life partners or even best friends. Just be careful!

That would be a definite NO. if you asked this like 20 years ago it would have been a definite YES and then somewhere in between. Its hard to trust people these days and you could end up with just about anyone you feared you wouldn't want to meet.

My brother met his wife on the net. They've been married about ten years and have three wonderful daughters. If I weren't happily married myself, sure.

Yes. In fact I married someone I met on in yahoo chat. I do recommend being very very careful. There are many weird and even dangerous people online.

I did, and it wasn't totally awful. I was in my late 30s and he was 50ish. I was very surprised that he didn't seem to be the person online or on the phone that he was in person. I was turned on by the NY accent, but turned off by his cheapness. Every now and then he calls me but I just ignore it.
