Pay attention in class. Ask intelligent questions. Do all your assignments and lab work and hand work in on time. Help other students. Be a productive member of the class, showing maturity, intelligence, and interest. Be courteous and polite. Be a model student. Teachers are really irritated by such behavior.

Do the best in the class and then at the end of the course ask them why they ever would take a job teaching chemistry. Could they not make it in the grownup world?

Don't bother asking unless you display a highly level of success in the course, otherwise you'll probably end up teaching chemistry too.

I did this all the time but i couldnt begin to explain to you how i pulled it off.

both freshman and sophmore year, in my biology classes i had the worst teacher. His voice was monotone, he talked and talked and talked all class long. Any way, his class was always my nap class. he used to get mad when i fel asleep, but the funny part is, no matter how hard he tried.. he never caught me off guard with a questiion. i always had the correct answer.

Whats even better is I never did any homework, but I always got great test scores. I had a 95 average the first year and 93 the second.. both times i was in the top 3 of the class.

He absolutely hated me because he knew that i could do what ever i wanted, and i still would not fail his class.

Hopefully, you can pull off something of the same talent.
