because you are not as important as the patient. they are paying you so they think that you need to wait. when really once you get sick you are a patient. i had the same problem when i was working at the medical center in la jolla.

I used to work in a hospital as a Nurse's Aide. I still need a darn prescription for sniffle or cough medication.

Then you should know there's no medicine for a cold. Take a couple aspirin, drink lots of water, and stay home.

I'm a CNA home health aid....been taking care of people for years... can't get health insurance for myself though?!!!

I feel you....I usually have to pay out of pocket if I need to go to a doc and it is so damn expensive!!!.....SOmetimes it can take me months to catch up again on bills after a doctor visit.

I think you just want to steal the vicodin to sell on the streets...be honest! oh yeah and hospitals don't usually leave viagra laying around... ;)

Just ask the doc that you work for to give you a scrip for cold meds.
It doesn't matter, they don't do anything anyway.

Why should they give it to you when they can charge 25 dollars a pill to some insurance company? Go to Walgreen's like the rest of us.
