When do you put your christmas tree up, and all the decorations up in your house?

Normally I wait until the last week of November to decorate the house, and the tree goes up on Dec 1. This year tho, I was feeling a little holiday spirit early, so I put out a few decorations this past weekend.

Here in the Philippines, the usual practice is to put up Christmas decorations after the All Saint's and All Soul's holidays (November 1 and 2). One year, I put up our Christmas decorations in December. My husband ending getting the Christmas fever in January.
The Christmas decorations also get more mileage.

I have a real sad story on this one. I got a divorce and moved out of my house into an apartment. I really had to do some talking to get my ex to give me all of the Christmas decorations (he only wanted them because I did) I have much less room in my apt. then my house, so I took them to my parents house to store all of them (including my tree) I am 42 years old and have MANY treasured items that I have collected over the years. My parents were both put in nursing homes this year and my brother cleaned out their house and sold it and took all of my stuff to goodwill. I will have no Christmas decorations this year. I'll survive, but it is still a little sad for me.

I do I the First weekend in Dec. My kids just love it. It puts everyone in the Holiday spirit, when the tree and Decorations go up.

We usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving. However, there are a few decorations around the house. I am so excited!

we usualy put ours up 3 days befor xmas and take it down 3 days after, it may sound odd only keeping a tree up for a week but we have 5 cats who all climb on the tree and pretend their ornimats haha but i think by only haing it up for a little time it makes it special

I like to put it up the first week of Dec., because I
buy a real tree and that way it'll last for the entire
