That mistake you'll never make again!
Every shiny dream that fades and dies,
Generates the steam for two more tries!
So every time you stumble never grumble.
Next time you'll bumble even less!
For up from the ashes, up from the ashes, grow the roses of success!

Grow the roses...those rosy, roses...grow the roses of success...grow the roses...those rosy roses...from the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success!

Best song in the whole 'Chitty' film. Magic!

You have brightened up a very wet and windy afternoon by reminding me of this song. Thank you.

This is a nice little ditty full of insightful adages. This is true that every time I make a mistake, I could realise that at least I realise just this, that if I have been wrong, I am at least not delusional. I could see that there could have been an even greater error, a deadlier fault, an error deadlier still, or a fault harder to see. And if I cold see just this much, I am no longer in the fear of making the same mistake again, as I am no longer part of the process that led me towards an ill conclusion at the first place.

The moment of realisation of ignorance is the best moment, it is sharp, brief and harder to catch moment they we should embrace and accept the way it has been with us recently. The moments of inner truth come without involvement of ego. But often there could be years of delay before such realisations take place, but once they do, acceptance should follow hard upon their footsteps, as the any laps in time makes it harder to accept even most strongly realised errors.

But soon as we realise and embrace our error we grow stronger in virtue to find inner courage and strength. It is our ability to see things that is vital, as this alone could bring within the grasps of our mind may that be ignorance, hatred, fear or lust.

Yes!
That's the right attitude!
Ask yourself each day: How have I failed today?
Ask yourself each day: What mistakes did I make today?
Ask yourself each day: What illusions did I shatter today?
etc.

Everything is changing all around us all the time.
Misery comes to us as a result of trying to stay the
same in a world that is changing. Hanging on to our security is not allowing us to adapt and change.
Mistakes, our failures -- these can show us the way
we are trying to being the same. Questioning ourselves frequently to see our mistakes, challenges ourselves to drop our clinging on baggage that is no longer useful for us.
With each mistake you make and acknowledge you made it, you recreate yourself, you drop the past, you let go of all that and more you live in the present as one with the changing flow around you.

The more willing we are to do this, the less misery we will have and conversely the more we will be grateful.

Mohammed replaced into no longer a feminist. He replaced right into a guy of his situations and ladies served a purpose. Please don't be naive and say he married in basic terms out of 'compassion' and that lust or charm replaced into no longer in touch with him having diverse different halves, concubines and female slaves captured for the duration of conflict after their husband's have been killed. don't be naive. awaken and scent the espresso. /

It's wonderful and completely true! People don't realize that perfections and imperfections make us who we are. Some people learn from their mistakes and others continue to repeat them (a mass murderer for example).

You totally changed my perception of my flaws. Thanks!

I'm no poet, so heres my take on mistakes.
Accept them.
Learn from them.
Don't do them again.
