There are several ways for WVU to get into the title game!
Winner of Kansas/ Mizzo losing in big 12 title game is the easiest (especially if Oklahoma gets there with their QB healthy!)
Other scenaio's Tennessee or Georiga beating LSU in SEC title game. If Kentucky could knock of Tennessee I'd make Georgia a favorite over LSU. Lsu could always lose to Arkansas too.
My nightmare is if LSU and Big 12 falls apart I get to watch WVU vs. Ohio St.? Champions of the two worst major confences in football?!

WVU would have a good chance if Kansas were to lose. They have an excellent computer ranking that would will probably increase even more if they win this week. But the reality is that Kansas now controls their own fate, so if they win out they will almost certainly be in the NC game instead of WVU.

YES for sure. If they win out and kansas or lsu loses, which is highly likely they both will . could be wvu-missouri or wvu -ohio st. which either would be good. we all know lsu is in a overrated league. just look for yourself , of the ranked teams they have faced (virg tech -9-2 ); (flor 8-3 )is worthy of being ranked; scar is 6-5 - aub 7-4 -which lost to usf at home and alab 6-5 which could not beat lois - monroe SEC DONT MAKE ME LAUGH -------DONT FORGET 7-4 KENT, WHICH BEAT LSU

If Missouri beats Kansas and then Oklahoma, those two wins over top 10 teams would move them ahead of West Virgina. West Virginia needs LSU to lose, or Oklahoma to win the Big 12. If you're a fan of West Virginia, you should be hoping for Sam Bradford to make a speedy recovery, although I know it will be really hard for some of you.

of course they can...not only do you have the Kansas/Mizzou game, but even if KU beats Mizzou, they have to play more than likely Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship.....if Mizzou beats KU, then THEY would have to play OU in Big 12 Championship...so WVU has a very decent shot at getting to the BCS Championship.....but without a championship game in the Big East, if either KU or Mizzou win both last games, they will more than likely go....as far as anyone else sneaking in there, dont think its gonna happen with Ohio State and Arizona State in 5th and 6th right now

wvu still has a shot at the national chamionship, but in looking at who they've played, i realize they for the most part haven't played against a team ranked in top 20, other than south florida who was ranked number 18 at the time and they lost that game. how can a team be ranked number 5 and only have played against 3 top 25 teams? what's up with that?

It may depend upon the score of that game. I wouldn't rule WVU out yet.
