ok....im gonna sound stupid...but i ned to make sure.....i know the answer but making sure.....synthatic fur is made out of polyester....right??......if yes.....so that means its safe to buy the products.....and is there a way to differenciate between real and synthatic fur...other than the prices????...

Synthetic fur can be made out of many different materials. It is often easy to differentiate from animal fur. Animal fur is softer, shines differently, and has more variation in color. Synthetic fur can feel sticky, and often won't move well if you "pet" it. Animal fur is much more expensive because it's harder to make and get (especially depending on the animal used)

I just stay away from both. It's not worth it. Earlier this year I read in "Vegetarian Times" (Carrot and Stick segment) that Baby Phat passed off real fur as fake. She said that she was told it was fake by some of her people and assumed it to be true. I wasn't going to buy Baby Phat to begin with, that just sealed it. I will most definitely stay away from fur looking stuff after reading that.
