A recent Rasmussen Poll (May 04, 2007) shows the following:
"Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he did not know, and 26% are not sure. "
This means that a smaller percentage think he was actively involved. I’d guess about 5%
The Rasussen Poll is fairly unbiased.

think about who you cited as people crying conspiracy. Dennis Kucinich, who is as far out of the mainstream democratic party as anyone could possibly be, and Roseanne? come on now. they are much more socialist than democrat. in all seriousness, i'd say that between 1 and 2 percent, and the 2 percent is a stretch. we all know it happened and wish it didn't. 9/11 is in the past though, and we need to stay focused on the future so things like that don't happen again.

Being stupid enough to believe in this preposterous 9-11 conspiracy is not a liberal or conservative tendency---it has to do with a lack of intelligence and critical thinking, which comes from both sides of the fence I think.
Many MANY right-wing political groups are conspiracists. Most acts of domestic terrorism have come from the right-wing, from people who fervently believed in these 'conspiracies' against their "way of life". (Oklahoma bombing, fire-bombing abortion clinics, etc).
I'm very liberal, very left-wing, and i think the 9-11 conspiracy theories are laughable,, lunatic, a bad Hollywood script, incredibly naive, gullible, almost pathetic. And so do all my friends.
As for 9/11 being the result of American policies, i think that is absolutely true, and so does the CIA. It is called, in their terms, "blow-back".

i'm liberal. i think the idea of 9/11 being a conspiriacy is a ridiculous thought.
i do hold President Bush and his people responsible for it though...
... i also think it couldn't have been handled worse since then.
i also think you mean "rosie" not "roseanne" and i don't know anyone who takes her seriously.
and we're not dumping dirt on the tragedy, and we're certainly not using 9-11 as a fundraising scheme like a certain Republican candidate.

I am no Bush fan but Clinton dismantled intelligence for 8 years.
That's hard to fix in 8 months.
