Socialism, all manufacturing and businesses are run by the state. The USA is nowhere near that, nor are democratic candidates.

We have very limited socialism in the USA now. Police and fire protection, court and prison system, our military, some power grids in the USA are socialistic. City, state, and federal infrastructure is a combination of socialism and capitalism working side by side, Universal Health Care for the military and Federal law makers are socialistic, welfare for the poor is socialistic ---------- but Wal-Mart, Ford Mtr Company, Microsoft, even down to the corner grocery store and Fred and Mary's Diner are not.

If you noticed, the area's that are socialistic are NEEDED SERVICES, and one NEEDED SERVICE THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE SOCIALISTIC IS OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM --- that is in shambles and can not be afforded by millions of Americans. Nor by you if you have a catastrophic illness or injury where your insurance runs out and you loose your home and you end up on skid row and a county hospital just trying to stay alive.

Remember, our federal law makers enjoy socialized health care. Why can they have it, but we don't? Their health care doesn't have a limit, nor does it exempt pre-existing conditions. That hassle free and free health care follows them to the grave.

No one should lose everything when it comes to their health.

Peace

Jim

i'm actually no longer a Hillary supporter--the in difficulty-free words time I met her she got here to a convention the position i turned right into a delegate and insulted all and assorted interior the room. yet i hit upon this question completely stupid, because it shows a complete lack of expertise of what socialism is. Assuming you agree for the accepted NON-Marxist definition of socialiosm, it really is the authorities administration of land, difficult artwork and capital. hence, the military is a socialist employer which the structure noticeably authorizes to be privatized if Congress so needs (Article I, section 8, paragraph 23 i imagine). Like maximum mainstream Dems, Hillary probable favors some type of authorities supervision of a few factors of deepest employer. The nonsense with subprime mortgages shows this can be a good suggestion. you received't see authentic Socialists, including the Socialist celebration u . s . or the Socialist workers celebration, confusing Hillary's positions with socialism, in difficulty-free words ignorant Republicans can attempt this (they must be ignorant, look at who they help).
