Does anyone have any farmer tricks for medical issues or worming or anything else other than bringing a pet to the vet. We have dogs, cats, and horses and would like to make a list of alternative aids such as baby asprin for hurts in the dogs or ivomec as a wormer and stuff like that. All advice welcome.
Thanks

Things like that can be risky. Back when , they did not really care as much if the animal lived through the treatment or not. They just did it. Rarely does a dog need aspirin. Usually rest will work as well without the potential side effects. Ivomec works, but some dogs react poorly and many have gone blind or died from an accidental overdoes. The margin for error on these things is way less than the normal dog medications.
But, to each his one! If something works for you and you are willing to take the risk, that is fine.

Yes!!! They will have to be on flea and tick prevention from an EARLY age (I feel Bayer says eight weeks or might or not it's 12? at the field?) They will have to be on it ALL YEAR LONG on the grounds that it does not imply that fleas do not exist within the iciness both. Advantix is first-class for fleas, ticks and mosquitos. Frontline is for fleas, ticks and chewing lice. It depends upon that you wish. They can get sicknesses like lyme sickness from ticks so that you wish them on it consistently!! Hope this is helping ^_^ PS so much locations will rate fit so simply ask them what to do to get it and avoid wasting cash on highly-priced treatment. Ebay isn't methods to cross as it seems that there are counterfit merchandise available in the market even though they promise it's precise (so says the vet I paintings with)
