I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, & I'm not sure what happened, but somehow the screen came on this morning with a huge smash in the glass under the screen's "skin".

I'm not sure what you can do when this happens to a laptop .. is there a place I can go to repair this, or should I contact the manufacturer? If you can tell me about how much this will cost to repair, that'd be great too. Thanks for the input.

Nope. Apparently someone in my house may have dropped it on the floor or stepped on it. Not sure how else that can happen .. I didn't smash it with a hammer or anything like that! =P

I would suggest you ring an electronics store in your city/town.
See if you can email Dell on the net.

My cat knocked my Dell off the table and I was told it would cost more to repair it than buy a new one! Hope this doesn't happen to you. Good luck.

Dell should fix this, even without warranty for a cost.

The only way they would fix this for free is if you purchased an accidental damage warranty from them. Otherwise this could cost anywhere from $200-$400ish

Your workstation would desire to artwork superb, merely get each and all of the mucus and stuff off of it as much as you could, different than that, it is going to be completely superb. A sneeze wont do something, spilling espresso on it is going to.
