on the subject of running up the score when opposing team has no chance of winning, he said the offense has no responsibility to stop playing and the defense has the responsibility to stop the offense. i totally agree and i'm a bills fan, how about you?

I agree. The offense is on the field to score points. You can not ask your offense to not score, that would take the point away from the game. They are just doing their job. You would not ask a doctor to just start the surgery, then once they get you open, just stop. DO YOUR JOB!

Comedian Frank Caliendo has trashed Madden before on certain things. Once impesonating Madden, he said, "When Troy Aikman throws the ball in the endzone and the receiver catches it, that's gonna be a touchdown". Also, Frank, quoting Madden, said "When Troy Aikman has his contacts in, he can see better." There's no question that sometimes John can state the obvious, but he's been doing that for years, even when he was broadcasting on FOX and CBS. NBC's announcing team is rated #1.

Hmmm does anybody remember how N.E. lost to Indy in the playoffs last year, blowing a fourth quarter lead? Lost a shot at the SuperBowl. Because they stopped playing, thinking they had a secure lead.

Lesson learned?? Id say YES! They dont stop playing no matter what the lead. They play a full 60 mintues. Regardless.

I HATE TOM BRADY!!

Yes, very much agree. They are professional teams and must play like it, to their utmost potential. And if they are getting their @sses kicked, then they should find a way to stop them, if not take the beating like a team. Complaining isn't going to do any good.
